The GELIOS inter-row cultivator is designed for inter-row cultivation of high-stemmed industrial crops: sunflower, corn, sorghum, etc. It loosens the topsoil to a predetermined depth with a variable row-spacing of 45‒70 cm.

The GELIOS cultivator in the basic configuration is equipped with a three-point hitch, which supports the frame of the unit and ensures stable operation of the cultivator, following the trajectory of the tractor. Complete with a precise guidance system (recognition of rows of agricultural crops), the cultivator is able to correct its position relative to the rows of crops and carry out processing, excluding cutting crops.

The tine sections have a parallelogram design and are bolted to the frame with a single bolt for very easy row spacing adjustment. Each section is equipped with infinitely height-adjustable support wheels that follow the contour of the soil, guarantee a constant working depth and allow you to work in high humidity without soil sticking. Cultivator shares are mounted on S-shaped spring tines and are made of high-strength steel with increased wear resistance. Infinitely adjustable spread of shares across the width of the section provides a better «overlap» of the processing area. Protective discs (optional) with a diameter of 430 mm provide good protection for plants in the initial growth phase.

Features of the GELIOS cultivator:
— parallelogram maintenance of the working depth on each row, setting the working depth with the help of an adjustable support wheel of the section;
— each section, if necessary, can be easily removed from the working state (for example, the edge of the field) by raising it and fixing the locking mechanism of the parallelogram;
— active precision guidance system helps to avoid cutting the crop line;
— high frame clearance up to 800 mm and smooth row spacing adjustment;
— hydraulic folding from the tractor cab;
— clogging-resistant working bodies ensure good work even with high density and height of weeds;
— a wide support wheel with a special tire helps to avoid sticking of the soil;
— the use of a cultivator allows to reduce the amount of applied plant protection products — herbicides;
— as an option, it is possible to install a system for applying liquid or granular fertilizers;
— as an option, it is possible to install protective discs on each section to ensure reliable protection of plants from undercutting.
