The dosing system is the basis of any unit. A high-quality dosing system is the key to the success of the mechanism’s performance. Such systems are installed on various tools for dosing and transporting bulk products to the working bodies of the unit. A sophisticated computerized dosing system increases the cost of the unit on which it is installed. The main function that this system performs is the dosage of seeds or fertilizers depending on the distance traveled. In order to reduce the cost of purchasing such dosing systems for various units, VELES AGRO offers a line of ARTEMIDA machines that have a single dosing and transportation system for any sowing and tillage implements.

The basis of the unit is a universal platform on which is mounted:
— coupling device with a tractor;
— bulk bunkers for bulk materials;
— electronic dosing system;
— pressurized transportation system;
— universal hitch;
— adjustable transport axle;
— tractor track rippers;
— service platform;
— bunker loading mechanism (option).

Capacious, voluminous, fully sealed hoppers with a wide opening for loading bulk materials ensure minimization of refueling costs, quick reloading of the unit and efficient use of the «window» of the best terms for sowing crops. The bunkers are equipped with a platform for the convenience of the operator during loading or maintenance.
The dosing system is driven by two independent CNC electric drives and can be adjusted to the required independent seeding rates. The universal metering coil has a modular stacking scheme and can be quickly configured for sowing. The case of the device is made of 4 mm stainless steel and supplemented with model-plastic and plastic components, which ensures the durability of its operation in an aggressive and abrasive environment. The electric drive of the sowing unit has the function of test adjustment of the required rate, thanks to which the adjustment process takes only a few minutes.

A powerful CRARU turbine (USA) transports the molded material with an air flow to the distribution head of the unit, where it is evenly distributed between the working bodies. Depending on the type of implement, the distributor head can divide the material from 4 to 60 seed tubes.
To prevent uneven operation of the units, the universal platform is equipped with tractor track rippers with adjustable loosening width depending on the tractor track. The working body of the ripper is equipped with wavy turbodiscs that loosen the soil compacted by the tractor wheels and level the field surface before sowing.
Due to the fact that the platform can be aggregated with different implements, the transport axle of the platform has hydraulic wheel width adjustment. Thanks to this function, the operator adjusts the width of the wheel travel of the platform for the required units or for transportation.
The rear part of the unit has a universal hitch, quite similar to the hitch of the tractor system, thanks to which various modules are connected to the platform. Hydraulic system couplings are brought to this place to connect the necessary implements to the tractor hydraulic system.
